The long-time rivalry between neighbors Chenango Valley and Chenango Forks resumes Friday night at 7 PM at Blue Devils Stadium.  This time around there is a different twist...the game will be played under the lights at Chenango Forks.  Permanent lighting has been installed at The Forks and they will play a pair of home games on Friday night breaking a long-standing tradition of Saturday afternoon home contests.

The Blue Devils have dominated the series and over the past 22 seasons Chenango Forks has not lost to Chenango Valley on the gridiron.  Coming into Friday night's duel the Blue Devils are 2-0 and ranked second in the state in Class B competition.  The Forks has wins over Maine-Endwell by a final score of 21-0 and Owego 40-7.

The Warriors are 0-2 having dropped a pair of home games.  On opening weekend they fell behind 22-0 in the first half and went on to lose 42-0 to Susquehanna Valley.  Last weekend Windsor topped CV 31-14.

Friday night's game will be broadcast on News Radio 1290 WNBF beginning at 6:50 PM.  Coverage will also be available on wnbf.com and with WNBF's free mobile app.
