The victims of crimes in the Greater Binghamton area and their families are being remembered this week during National Crime Victims Rights Week.

The Crime Victims Assistance Center in Binghamton has erected its memorial wall honoring homicide victims.  The wall features photos and mementos along with the personal stories of local homicide victims.

The wall is located near JCPenny’s at the Oakdale Mall and will be on display through the week.

Other events include the Survivor’s Tribute at Otsiningo Park at 6 p.m. April 21 and the Victims Rights Breakfast at the Holiday Inn in Binghamton April 24.
