When you listen to our WNBF Weather updates from the National Weather Service you've been hearing a lot about showers and thunderstorms over the past several weeks.  We've had temperatures hitting 90 and then dropping to the low 40's overnight.

Over the next week showers and thunderstorms are possible every day.  It seems like a typical summer season. Humidity builds up and then we get storms.  So far they have been scattered around our Southern Tier of New York and Northern Tier of Pa.  You may have escaped any storms or you may be someone who has trees down and wind damage to your property.

WNBF listener Richard Kachmarik shared photos of Monday's hail storm that hit the Chenango Bridge area. Others reported downed trees and hundreds of power outages all around the region.
