Delaware County Sheriff’s officials are investigating a roll-over crash that sent a 78 year old woman to the hospital.

Authorities say Doris Hubar of Margaretville was driving on State Highway 28 in the Town of Middletown at around 2 p.m. June 27 when she may have experienced a medical issue, causing her to lose control of the vehicle, which went off the road, hit and traveled along the top of a stone wall before hitting a tree an rolling over, trapping her inside.

She was freed by fire and emergency personnel and taken to Margaretville Memorial Hospital.  Hubar was later transferred to Albany Medical Center.

No tickets have been issued.

Hubar’s vehicle was the only one involved in the crash.
