A Cortland man is charged with grand larceny after Sheriff’s Deputies were called to Penguin Drive on Saturday, April 9 with a report of the theft of a credit card.

After talking to the victim, Authorities arrested 20 year old Brett Armstrong and accused of taking his relative’s card without her knowledge and using it to buy things nearby.  Investigators say its believe Armstrong managed to return the card before the relative realized it had been taken.

Armstrong was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $1,000 bail.
