Cortland County’s K9 Gets Body Armor

Cortland County Sheriff K9, Fredy is better protected against bad guys thanks to a gift from Vested Interest in K9s, Inc., sponsored by a Colorado woman.

Each police dog's protective body armor is valued at between $1,795-$2,234.

Vested Interest is a 501c(3) charity that has provided over 1,600 protective vests in 49 states through private and corporate donations.
