The Cortland County Drug Task Force says a traffic stop has resulted in the arrest of a McGraw man for allegedly having the materials needed to make methamphetamine in his vehicle.

51 year old Arvin Strauf was arrested following a traffic stop in the town of Freetown April 4th.

Authorities say, in addition to the discovery of the items used in manufacturing meth, they found drug paraphernalia, that Strauf was driving without a license and that he was using a police radio receiver in a private vehicle without authorization.

Strauf is charged with felony unlawful manufacture of methamphetamine, felony criminally using drug paraphernalia and misdemeanor counts for the police reciever and driver's license violations.

Strauf was sent to the Cortland County Jail without bail.
