A Cortland County teen is facing charges after Sheriff’s officials say they found him driving at a high rate of speed on Route 26 in Cincinnatus.

Officials say 16 year old Jason Rice of Willet was stopped by authorities who said they observed the teen and two passengers had been smoking marijuana.  Rice was also found to be in possession of pot.

Jason is charged with driving while ability impaired by drugs, speeding and unlawful possession of marijuana.

He was turned over to a parent to await his next date in court.
