Two Cortland County men are facing felony charges for the theft of several guns and other items from an office inside a barn on Cheningo Road in the Town of Truxton last August.

Cortland County Sheriff’s officials say the owner of the dairy barn reported several long guns, tools, food and other items missing.

Officials say, during the course of their investigation, some of the stolen items were recover and two suspects identified.

21 year old Travis Brown of  Cortland and 21 year old Brandon McCracken of Truxton are charged with felony counts of burglary and grand larceny and misdemeanor conspiracy.

The men were sent to the Courtland County Jail on $5,000 bail.
