Convenience Store Employee Accused of Theft

A Binghamton man is accused of stealing from his employer.

28 year old Walter Fleming Junior was arrested May 26 after Broome County Sheriff’s officials received a complaint from the manager of the Express Mart in the Town of Dickinson that the cash count in the security safe was $80 off.

The manager said a check of paper receipts and video camera footage indicated the cash shortfall was not an accident.

Fleming is charged with petit larceny and was ordered to appear in Town of Dickinson Court at a later date.
