Broome County Sheriff’s officials say a Conklin woman drove into a house.

A Sergeant tried to stop 23 year old Britney Rohmann at the intersection of Tompkins Street and Conklin Avenue at 2:37 a.m. February 11 as she reportedly made an extremely wide right hand turn into his lane and he barely avoided hitting her vehicle.

The Sergeant says Rohmann sped off and attempted to turn into a driveway on Tompkins Street where her vehicle hit the side of the house, causing minor damage.

Authorities say the woman tried to run from officers and fought with them during her arrest.

Rohmann was found in possession of some marijuana and refused to submit to a breath test.

Rohmann is charged with felony aggravated unlicensed operation of a vehicle, driving while intoxicated, obstructing governmental administration, resisting arrest, unlawful possession of marijuana, improper right turn, failure to comply and driving without proof of insurance.

She’s been ordered to appear in Binghamton City Court at a later date.
