Broome County Emergency Services officials are reporting a rollover crash off State Route 7 in Conklin that left a woman injured and closed a portion of the road for close to an hour.

Officials say they got the report of the crash across from the Buffalo Head Bar and Grill shortly before 9:30 p.m. January 15 and found the vehicle off the road.

Responders say they found the driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, in the back seat of the car.

The Jaws of Life was deployed to pry her out of the car after the vehicle was secured.

The woman’s name and condition were unavailable.

The investigation is continuing.
