Conklin Man Sentenced for Sex With Five-Year-Old

A Conklin man will spend ten years in prison after pleading guilty to felony criminal sexual act.

27 year old Tarrel Coleman was sentenced November 14 after admitting he had engaged in an oral sexual act with a five year old girl.

The man allegedly had contact with the child in May in the Town of Colesville.

Prosecutors said, however, its believed Coleman was responsible for incidents involving the girl starting when she was two years old.

In addition to jail time, Coleman is required to file as a sex offender and will serve 20 years on post-release supervision.
