Community Gathers at M-E

Community members are invited to Spartan Stadium at Maine-Endwell High School tonight (Wednesday) to cheer on the M-E Little League team as they meet Bowling Green, Kentucky in the Little League World Series in South Williamsport, Pa.  The game is scheduled for a 7:30 PM start and will be televised on ESPN.

The Matthews Auto Group and Time Warner Cable have combined to make the event happen.  According to a Matthews Auto press release Time Warner Cable has hooked up a new cable line from the street to the football field.  Matthews Auto has secured a 40-foot screen with another 26 foot screen available if needed.

There is no admission charge.  All are invited and fans can bring chairs or blankets to sit in the grass.  Bleacher seating is also available. There will be food and refreshments for purchase.
