Collier Parking Lot is Open

The new surface parking lot that replaced the Collier Street parking ramp in Downtown Binghamton is open for business.

Parking at the lot will cost $2 for an hour or less 7 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Friday with a maximum of ten dollars a day during the week.

There are other rates for night parking and parking for special events.

The Collier Street ramp was torn down after it was found unsound and unsafe.

The City is considering development options for the property across from Governmental Plaza.
