Citizens Bank Customer in the Town of Chenango Robbed at Knifepoint

New York State Police are investigating an armed robbery at the Citizens Bank branch in the Town of Chenango.

Officials say a man, dressed in black with a black mask and armed with a knife threatened a customer making a deposit at the automatic teller machine at the bank on River Road at around 9:30 p.m. November 15 and demanded the money.

The suspect was described as standing six feet to six feet, two inches tall, of average build and wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and nylon pants.

He fled the scene on foot.
