Heading into the Christmas Holiday Weekend the weather looks good for travel around our region.  While parts of the mid-west are looking at heavy snows and bitter cold our portion of the northeast looks much better.  Milder than normal temperatures are expected.

As of Friday evening the National Weather Service is predicting rain on Saturday with conditions drying out Saturday night and a partly sunny day on Christmas Day. Temperatures could approach the 40 degree mark for those last minute shoppers on Saturday.

For Santa and his reindeer Rudolph may be relegated to the back of the team since early Christmas morning weather is expected to be cloudy with temperatures just below freezing and no rain or snow.
