The 32nd Annual CHOW Hunger Walk will be held next Sunday, October 19th at Binghamton University.  Registration begins at 1 PM and the walk starts at 2.  Registration and the start and finish point for the walk are behind East Gym on campus at BU.  The course takes walkers up near the Nature Preserve and back  behind East Gym, a distance of about 2.5 miles.

CHOW (Community Hunger Outreach Warehouse) is operated through the Broome County Council of Churches.  Money raised and non-perishable food collected helps needy people in our community.   Some of the major needs for CHOW include:  baby formula, pasta, spaghetti sauce, canned fruits and canned vegetables and cereal.  CHOW asks that there not be any items in glass containers donated due to the danger of breakage.

WNBF Radio will once again be a sponsor of the walk as it has for all the CHOW Hunger Walks since they  began.  Morning Show host Roger Neel will walk in the event.  Guests from CHOW will join Roger on First News this week on Tuesday and Friday at 8:40 AM with more information on this year's CHOW Hunger Walk.
