A two month long investigation results in a big marijuana bust between Cortland and Broome Counties.Cortland County Sheriff's Deputies were assisting Child Protective Services last December in an investigation at a home in Willett where 21 year old Renae Lowe and 27 year old Travis Parks were living at the time when they noticed the smell of burnt marijuana.

Deputies say they found a large amount of pot at the home on Carr Road as well as a marijuana plant growing in a side room.

Parks and Lowe subsequently moved to Bevier Street in Binghamton.

Both are now charged with endangering the welfare of a child.  Parks is also charged with felony marijuana possession. He was sent to the Cortland County Jail on $5,000 bail while Lowe was jailed on $1,000 bail.
