The Chenango Forks Central Schools are upgrading facilities to not only meet the “STEM” or Science, Technology, Engineering and Math curriculum but the “STEAM” curriculum that adds Arts into the mix.  Demolition is underway at the Arts and Science building to bring in new technology in an $18.2 million upgrade that will put a new building on the current foundation.

Some of the upgrades include security and accessibility measures, wireless access points and larger science rooms.

The project is expected to be complete for the next school year.  In the meantime, the district is utilizing formerly unused space to accommodate displaced classes and programs.
