Chenango Forks Man Accused of Passing Bad Checks in Cortland County

A Chenango Forks man is being charged with felony grand larceny in Cortland County.  Sheriff’s Officials say 35 year old Christopher Moore is also charged with seven counts of issuing a bad check after staff at the “Pit Stop” on Route 11 in Polkville reported purchases made totaling $1,464 on an account with insufficient funds in September.

Moore was found at the Broome County Jail where he was being held on a separate investigation.

After being arraigned on the charges in Cortland County, Moore was sent back to the Broome County Jail.
