The Chenango Forks Blue Devils and the Maine-Endwell Spartans are looking to capture New York State Championships tomorrow in the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.  Chenango Forks meets Rye Neck in the Class C final at Noon while the Spartans will follow at 3 PM as they face Schalmont High for the Class B title.

Both football teams have had outstanding seasons to get to the championship round and both have storied pasts. Coming into tomorrow's action The Forks has lost just once this season...to Tioga, a Class D powerhouse who made it to last weekend's state semi-final round.  The score in that game was 7-0.  M-E has now won 37 straight games and is looking to win its third consecutive state crown.  The Spartans captured the Class A title three seasons ago and the Class B championship last year.

Both schools have had their share of success in the Dome. Chenango Forks won back to back tiles in 2003 and 2004 while M-E won its first of three state championships in Syracuse in 2003.
