Communities are honoring their New York State Public High School Athletic Association Football Champions in both Maine-Endwell and Chenango Forks this week.  Maine-Endwell won the State Class B Championship while Chenango Forks captured the Class C title.  Both were victorious in the Carrier Dome in Syracuse.

Earlier this week the Spartans went on a victory parade around their school district.  Players and coaches visited all their schools to meet students and staff, sign autographs and pose for photos. The visits enabled many of the younger students to meet their heros and help to share in the celebration.

This Saturday, December 14th, Chenango Forks will hold their "Parade of Champions".  The parade will begin at Chenango Forks High School at 2 PM and will proceed through the surrounding neighborhood.  Participants will then head to Moe's Southwest Grill for a "meet and greet" with players and coaches. There will be prizes for school spirit, giveaways and "Super-Fan" status.  All members of the community are invited.
