38 year old Geneia Rood of Pitcher is under indictment for allegedly causing the death of three month old Brenna Quinn last year.

Rood, who was baby sitting the infant in her home on Bauman Road on September 5th, pleaded not guilty in Chenango County Court to felony manslaughter.

Prosecutors allege Rood gave the baby alcohol, recklessly causing the girl's death.

Rood was arrested in November after an autopsy revealed that alcohol was in the infant's system.

If convicted of manslaughter, Rood faces a maximum sentence of five to fifteen years in prison.
