Proceedings against a Chenango County man accused in the murder of his wife in December, 2012 continue to take new twists.

The two lawyers for Ganesh 'Remy' Ramsaran asked the court to allow them to be dismissed since the 38 year old was having trouble paying his legal fees.

Ramsaran has pleaded not guilty to murder in the slaying of his wife, 36 year old Jennifer Ramsaran at their New Berlin home.

Records show Ramsaran owes over $72,000 in fees for legal services and expert testimony due to a problem with a loan he got from his father.

Meanwhile, the New Berlin man has complained about a lack of support from his attorneys and actions of the district attorney in dealings with the media.

Ramsaran says he’s getting another lawyer from New Jersey.
