Chenango County Meat Salesman Arrested

A traveling meat salesman from Chenango County is accused of trespassing at a home in Rensselaer County.

New York State Police say 33 year old Scott Evanchof of Smithville Flats was arrested for driving without a license and criminal impersonation as he tried to peddle frozen meat at a home in Brunswick.

Troopers say they responded to the home and found Evanchof lying about his birthdate before it was found his license had been suspended 18 times on 12 different dates.

He was jailed on $2,500 bail.
