Chenango County Man Jailed for Cussing in Court

You can swear to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth in court. What you can't do, though, is just plain swear. 21 year old Ethan Rounds of South Otselic is charged with criminal contempt for allegedly cussing in court.

Chenango County Sheriff's officials say Rounds was in Town of Otselic Court during an official proceeding when he allegedly used vulgar and offensive language after being asked to stop disrupting court.

Rounds was sent to the Chenango County jail on $5,000 bail.
