Chenango County Man Jailed After Dispute

A Coventry man faces several charges after a reported dispute.

Authorities say 25-year-old Robert Robertson III was arrested following an investigation into an incident on Route 206 in Coventry.

State police say Robertson was charged with assault and unlawful imprisonment. He also was charged with endangering the welfare of a child and criminal mischief.

Robertson was arraigned in Coventry town court. He was sent to Chenango County Jail on $1,000 bail.
