Chenango County Man Charged in Child Pornography Investigation

A Chenango County man is accused of possessing child pornography.

Sheriff’s officials say they conducted a lengthy investigation into a child endangerment complaint and seized a computer belonging to 57 year old Robert Baker of Plymouth.

Investigators with the sheriff’s office and the Broome County Computer Analysis and Technical Services United, operated through the Broome County Security Division, say they found pornography on the device and moved ahead with the arrest.

Baker is charged with possessing a sexual performance by a child and possessing an obscene sexual performance by a child.

The authorities say their investigation is continuing and additional charges are pending.
