Chenango County Man Accused of Prison Contraband

Chenango County Corrections Officers booking a man into the County Jail say they found drugs hidden in the suspect’s foot bandage.  Sheriff’s officials say 50 year old Clifton Brooks, also known as “C”, was arrested by Village of Green Police.

Authorities say some crack cocaine and heroin were found in Brooks’ foot bandage.

He’s charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, introducing prison contraband and a lesser count of criminal possession of a controlled substance.

Brooks had been arrested on multiple drug-related offenses in the Town of Norwich as well as the drug related charges in Greene.
