Chenango County Man Accused of Draining Bank Accounts

A Town of Plymouth man is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from the bank accounts of two victims from October through December of 2016.

Chenango County Sheriff’s officials say 33 year old Aaron Bishop is charged with felony grand larceny and forgery.

The New York State Parolee is accused of getting over $17,000 from the victims through over 100 transactions at NBT Bank.

The bank’s Information Security Department assisted in the investigation.

Bishop was sent to the Chenango County Jail on $10,000 bail.
