Chenango Bridge Man is Accused of DWI and Speeding

A Broome County man is accused of driving drunk and speeding on Kattelville Roadnear Chenango Bridge Fire Station #1 at 12:13 a.m. March 23.

Sheriff’s officials say 24 year old Thomas Crocker was clocked doing 70 miles an hour in a 30 mile an hour zone.

A Sheriff’s Deputy tried to pull Crocker over, but the vehicle continued traveling on Kattelville Road before turning onto River Road then stopping in a driveway on Route 12.

Authorities say they found Crocker had consumed several alcoholic beverages earlier in the evening.

He’s facing eight vehicle counts as well as a drunk driving charge.

Crocker was ordered to appear in Town of Chenango Court at a later date.
