A Broome County man faces felony charges after a sheriff's deputy observed a swerving pickup truck nearly strike two cars head-on.

Authorities say 48-year-old David Bock of Chenango Bridge was arrested after the incident on Upper Front Street in the town of Chenango.

According to the sheriff's office, Bock was charged with driving while intoxicated with a prior DWI-related conviction in the preceding ten years and driving with a .08 percent or greater blood alcohol content with a prior DWI conviction. Both charges are felonies.

Bock also was cited for moving from a lane unsafely, a violation.

Deputies say Bock's blood alcohol content was measured at .14 percent.

Bock was ordered to appear in Chenango town court at a later date.
