Chef Carla Hall’s Book Tour Stops in Johnson City

Celebrity chef Carla Hall from ABC's The Chew appeared for a book-signing April 27 at Wegman's supermarket in Johnson City.

Tickets for the signing and meet and greet were limited to 300 and fans waited up to two hours to have their copy of Hall's latest book: Carla's Comfort Foods sign and share a few words with the chef.

Copies of dog and cat treats recipes found at www.wnbf.com at Kathy's Recipes were presented to the chef as it was noted The Chew has not aired a segment featuring pet treats.

Carla was excited since had been pushing to do a pet treat segment and said she now is armed with some recipes.

Updates will be posted if the Foodie Friday recipes are actually to be made on the daily cooking/ entertainment program airing locally weekdays at 1 p.m. on ABC.

The chef has more scheduled book signing events at other Wegmans in New York State.
