Kathy Whyte/WNBF News [file][/caption]More charges are being piled on a Towanda man who is accused of stealing a car, threatening people with a gun and ramming the stolen car into Pennsylvania State Police cars, pinning a trooper between two of the cars, causing serious injury.

47 year old Richard Vanderpool is now charged with 28 counts, including Attempted homicide for the injury to the trooper, terroristic threats and false imprisonment.

Another trooper was also hurt in the incidents October 21 in Towanda Borough, Franklin Township and Burlington Township.

In all, investigators say there were 14 victims that also included residents and businesses.

Vanderpool was jailed in Bradford County on $2 million bail.
