Bearcats Women Play Day Game in Maine

The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team played in Maine against the Black Bears January 19.  Tip-off was 3:30 p.m. in a Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday game.

The Bearcats were 2-3 in America East while the Black Bears were 3-1 in the conference and 11-6 overall

The Binghamton Bearcats men's basketball team battled the New Hampshire Wildcats even through regulation but were outscored 13-6 in  overtime and lost a 73-66 decision to New Hampshire.  The win puts the Wildcats America East conference record at 2-3 while the Bearcats fall to 1-4

Great Danes Too Much for Bearcats

A slow start doomed comeback efforts for the Binghamton Bearcats as they dropped a 73-58 decision to the Albany Great Danes at the SEFCU Arena in Albany.  The win gives Albany a 4-0 record in America East while the Bearcats fall to 1-3.

Romello Walker Tabbed as America East Rookie of the Week

Binghamton Bearcat freshman Romello Walker has been named the America East Rookie of the Week.

Walker averaged 17.5 points per game in two America East contests last week.  He scored 17 points in Hartford January 7 and fired in 18 tallies in the Bearcats' win over Maine January 10 at the Events Center
