First Place Fits B-Mets

The Binghamton Mets continue to play like they are on a mission as they crushed the Bowie Baysox August 5, 9-2 at NYSEG Stadium.  Bowie is the top team in the Western Division.  The B-Mets remain the top club in the Eastern Division.  Binghamton is 13 games over .500 at 61-48 and that puts the B-Mets up by 1.5 games over Reading and 3.5 games over Trenton. Binghamton is 7-3 in their last 10 games and have won two straight contests.
