College Football 2012 – Week 13 Recap

Notre Dame punched its ticket into the national title game. And now the Fighting Irish must wait one more week to find out who their opponent will be. With Alabama and Georgia both recording big wins, it sets up a monster showdown in next week’s SEC title game, with the winner advancing to the BCS national championship.

Just when you think you’ve got things figured out in college football, anarchy rears its ugly head and reminds you who’s in control. The Maine-Endwell Spartans crushed the Alden Bulldogs in a New York State Public High School Athletic Association semi-final football battle this afternoon at Rochester's Sahlen Stadium.

Maine-Endwell never trailed as they won their 24th game in a row and take a record of 12-0 into the Carrier Dome for the State Class B Championship vs the Glens Falls Indians next Saturday at 3 PM

U-E and Tioga End Their Season in High School Football

Section 4 football powers Union-Endicott and Tioga had their seasons come to an end last night in Rochester in the New York State Public High School Athletic Association Semi-Finals.

In the first game in Class D play Randolph scored early to take a 7-0 lead then watched as Tioga countered in the second half with Tyler Spires rushing for a 35 yard touchdown
