UHS Plans Second Vestal Parkway Medical Building

United Health Services is planning to construct another medical office building on the Vestal Parkway, across from the Binghamton University campus.

The Broome County-based health care provider intends to build an almost 69,000 square foot, two-story facility just east of its walk-in facility that was built on what had been the site of the Press & Sun-Bulletin newspaper offices.

Binghamton Man Arrested in Hotel Drug Bust

A Binghamton man is accused of selling drugs out of a room at a hotel near Roberson Museum that has been known by numerous names over the past few years.

The Broome County Special Investigations Unit Task Force raided a room at the Comfortel, formerly the Ramada Inn and Carousel Inn on Front Street June 1 and say they recovered 101 bags of heroin and cash

Broome Collects Hundreds of Pounds of Expired Drugs

The Broome County Sheriff’s Office reports over 800 pounds of expired and unwanted medications have been collected and safely disposed of between last October and March.

The department also partnered with the Broome County Office for Aging in April and May to visit senior centers and collected an additional 800 pounds of drugs for disposal
