Binghamton Police Cars To Get Dashcams

Dashboard cameras will soon be installed in several Binghamton police vehicles.

The city plans to use $32,000 in state grant money to pay for dashcams for six patrol cars.

Officials say this will be the first time dash cameras will be used by the Binghamton police department

Women Face Felony Charges in Cortland Walmart Shoplifting

A Cortland woman and Lafayette woman are charged with felony falsifying business records and other counts following a report of two women shoplifting at the Cortlandville Walmart.

27 year old Ashley Franklin of Layfayette and 26 year old Kaylea Mendez of Cortland allegedly were found in possession of drugs after authorities investigated a report of the suspects stealing items then returning to the store to try to redeem them for cash
