N.Y. Meat Fraud Shut Down

A Vermont man will serve two years on probation and 50 hours of community service for selling meat products around New York State that were fraudulently labled as being USDA inspected.Federal prosecutors with the Department of Justice Northern District of New York say 44 year old Craig Acton of Bennington bought meat products commercially, repackaged the meat using the USDA inspection stamp of another company, then resold the meat commercially in New York State without authorization between January and June of 2011
