Catatonk Valley Woodcarvers Host Show This Weekend

The 24th Annual Catatonk Valley Woodcarvers' Show and Sale will be held this Saturday and Sunday, October 11 and October 12 at the Candor Fire Hall in Candor.  There is no admission charge and there will be ongoing demonstrations both days.

Woodcarving displays will be featured.  One that will be raffled off as a fund-raiser for the group is an historic framed wooden quilt.  This features hand-carved basswood panels on regional historic sites.  Along with the quilt will be a hardwood wooden book describing all the sites on the quilt.

Food and beverages will be available both days and their will be prizes offered that are donated by local carvers.  Additional information is available by calling 659-7146 or 748-4900.
