Over 220 people attended the January 13 Career Fair at the Floyd L. Maines Veterans Memorial Arena in Binghamton. Close to 30 businesses and agencies had displays and booths at the event.

The Career Fair was presented through a partnership with the Binghamton Senators and Broome-Tioga Workforce New York. Organizations ranged from the military to manufacturing to medical care.

Many of the business representatives on hand said they are hiring. Some are looking for specific skills and some are offering training to prepare for certain positions.

The Binghamton Senators offered one free ticket to those who dropped off a resume to one or more participating businesses. That ticket is for the January 13 B-Sens game against the Syracuse Crunch. The contest gets underway at 7:05 PM.
