Bob Joseph/WNBF News

Broome County Sheriff’s Deputies accuse a Binghamton man of drunk driving following a crash on Interstate 81.

Authorities received a report of a hit and run crash in the Town of Kirkwood and the Deputy found the vehicle in the northbound lane, facing the wrong way.

The driver, 27 year old Joseph Bianco was located, uninjured and standing on the highway.

Officials say their investigation showed Bianco was intoxicated and had a suspended driver’s license.

Bianco is charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding and moving from a lane unsafely.

He’s been ordered to appear in Town of Kirkwood Court at a later date.
