The Tioga County man is to go on trial in September in connection with the 2001 disappearance of his wife, Michele Harris.

Harris has been convicted twice of murder in the case but both convictions were dismissed on appeal.

Harris now has been interviewed for the CBS News program 48 Hours. Correspondent Erin Moriarty spoke with Harris and his children on Tuesday.

Portions of the interview are to be shown on Monday night's episode of the program called "The Trials of Cal Harris."

The next trial is scheduled to get underway September 15 in Schoharie County. That will be just over 13 years since Michele Harris vanished.

Harris and his four teenage children three months ago announced the creation of a telephone tip line seeking information about the case.
