A former Tioga County businessman who had been convicted twice of murder in connection with the 2001 disappearance of his wife is still waiting for his next court appearance.

Calvin Harris and his attorney were to appear in Tioga Court December 7th for a preliminary legal conference in the next action to be taken by prosecutors against him.

The session was delayed and is not expected to be convened until early next year.

Harris' latest murder conviction was overturned by the New York State Court of Appeals in October on technicalities, resulting in the former Owego car dealer's release from prison.

Harris has been accused of murdering his wife, Michele Harris, who was last seen alive September 11, 2001. Her body has never been found.
