Bus Stop Adjustments

Some BC Transit bus stops are changing.

Broome County officials say the bus stops at Main Street/Avenue C and Main Street/Willow Street in Johnson City will be combined at 219 Main Street.

A bus stop is being moved to a location in front of the Post office on Main Street in the Village.  The Main Street/ Allen Street stop is being moved to the NYPenn Trade Center while the Main Street at First Street stop is being removed.

County officials cite information from the New York State Department of Transportation for improved safety of motorists, pedestrians and bus passengers.

The changes are to start July 31.
