The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is on the road tonight (Thursday) to face the Rider Broncs at 7 PM (6:45 Air on News Radio 1290 WNBF).  Binghamton is 7-4  while Rider is 3-7.

The Bearcats are coming off a  road overtime win at Cornell 66-58 on Monday night.  Imani Watkins fired home a career-high 36 points to lead BU to victory.  Watkins leads America East in scoring averaging 20.5 points per game.

The Broncs topped NJIT 79-64 in their last outing on Saturday.  In four previous meetings between the two teams each has won twice.  In their last meeting in December, 2014  the Bearcats posted a 72-67 decision.

Alyssa James continues to sparkle on the defensive end of the court.  James leads America East and is second in the nation in blocks per game averaging 4.9 per contest.

The Bearcats don't play again until they host Dartmouth in a New Year's Eve home game versus Dartmouth at 2 PM.  Binghamton's 7-4 start is the team's best since 2005-06.
