With the end of the America East women's basketball regular season just 4 days away the Binghamton Bearcats played their home finale at the Events Center February 26.  The Bearcats hosted the Stony Brook Seawolves who are in third place in the conference with a 9-5 record.

The Bearcats were 2-12 and tied for the seventh seed position in America East.  When the Seawolves hosted Binghamton last month they rolled to a 67-54 decision.  Kim Albrecht, Imani Watkins and Jasmine Sina all scored 11 points in that meeting.  For the Seawolves Sabre Proctor scored a game-high 14 points.

Seniors Sherae Swinson and Gintare Surdokaite were honored in pre-game ceremonies as they close their Binghamton basketball careers.  The Bearcats head to UMBC to meet the Retrievers at the RAC March 1 at 1 p.m. in the regular season finale.

Binghamton will host the America East Women's Basketball Tournament next weekend, March 7 and 8.  Pairings for the first round of the tournament will be announced at the conclusion ot this weekend's play.
