The Binghamton Bearcats women's basketball team is back in action tonight (Wednesday) at the Events Center with a contest against the UMass Lowell River Hawks.  Starting time is 7:00 P.M with air at 6:45 on News Radio 1290 WNBF.

The River Hawks are tied for seventh place in America East with a conference slate of 3-10 and 7-19 overall.  Binghamton is in sixth place with a record of 5-7 and 10-15 overall.  The remaining part of the regular season schedule will be a battle for seeding positions with the top four teams getting to host an opening round playoff game.

The Bearcats have the edge in the series with an 11-4 advantage.  Binghamton has won the last seven meetings in the series.  In a meeting at UMass Lowell last month the Bearcats rolled to a 7-50 victory.  Rebecca Carmody notched a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds for Binghamton.
